Mom's travel document holder is done, but no pictures of the gorgeous fabric since my camera has decided to die on me. I mean, it was only 6 years old and has lived quite an exciting life. I mean, if it had its own passport, it'd be pretty impressive. So let's observe a moment of silence for such a wonderful companion.
As for piccies, I'll have them once I get to Germany as mom has a functioning camera.

Christmas Present Number One
So thanks to this tutorial I've made, at last count, four travel document holders. Now, one is abysmally bad and shall be seam-ripped to salvage fabric. The second is pretty good, but not as stiff as I'd like. The third is pretty good, but I used interfacing and it turned out a little thick. The fourth is good enough to be a present for a friend, and so I'm posting pictures...
I've nixed the zippers to do pockets instead because, well, I think that's part of why the first turned out so wonky. Also, I don't really need them, I just need places for papers and maybe a pen.
Anyhow, that's one project nearly perfected (or enough so that I can make mom's version now).

First Post!
"When Is Christina Coming Home?" Calendar made with paint chips and scrapbooking paper. Turned out rather cool, if I do say so myself...
